Kindness

This week has been all about kindness. We have this thing called SLC Kindness Week and being the mascot of random acts of kindness it is one of my favorite weeks.

Last night I spent 45 minutes writing postcards to strangers. They were handed out today, I didn’t know who got them but I wrote them with the intention that everyone who picks up a card will like what they read or maybe need it.

I felt gratified by the amount of words pouring out of me. I love that moment when I don’t control what I write but whatever comes out is just eloquent.

I had a super busy and crazy day but I ended it with a meditation that was guided by pure intention of loving kindness. A Buddhist practice. It was so relaxing, just what I needed to center myself after the last few crazy weeks.

Throw kindness around like confetti. One is never kind enough, trust me, you can keep giving and never run out!

Love and light,

Miti
