Another Good, Late Night

Today, I decluttered and deep cleaned my room. There was so much extra stuff everywhere, and my room really was a reflection of the state of my mind for the last month and a half–crazy, haphazard, overstretched. And now, my room is simpler, less messy, and more open–my current mindset, or at least what I’m striving for.

Miti told me about this sort of game she’s played. Basically, you think of a question, deep or shallow, and flip open a book and see what words your eyes first land on.

I thought of a few different things, but when I opened my book, the first thing I saw was a phrase, and the phrase was this: ‘I had a choice.’

Remarkable and empowering and self reassuring. Loving it.
